Deeply warm aquamarine colour medium-weight cotton from the 1960’s printed in a floral grid pattern; this dress has a trapeze shape, sleeveless and plain neck with multi gathering at the hem to give it bounce, and an easy to manage back opening and press-stud floral trim fastening .

From its self-piped neck and armholes, and glorious multi-coloured daisy trim below the neck, down to the ever bouncey hem this can give a little girl that feeling of ‘swirl’ in a more modern form. The cerise pink and white spotted lining echoes the brilliant flowers of the main fabric. In addition my two usual patch pockets are made from a 1960’s floral cotton remnant, echoing the floral abundance of the main fabric, embellished with deep turquoise velvet ribbon and multi-colour flower trim - gloriously colourful and fun!

Yes a party dress, but for any special occasion as well, even as a ‘flower girl’.
