Lovely rescued soft cotton teal coloured corduroy used again for this pinafore dress with its large ‘little treasures’ pocket made from vintage printed fabric, another use of the vintage fabric depicting mid 20th century illustrations of village and farming life in such pretty colours. It is lined with a soft pink and white striped cotton lining, and I used the same fabric to edge the pocket, bind the hem, and pipe the neck and armholes. The large pocket is ready for ‘little treasures’ (don’t forget to check for mouldy vegetables, muddy grit etc!).

The dress can be worn with a long sleeve t-shirt and leggings in the winter, and a short-sleeve t-shirt in the summer. She will look very grown-up in this to go visiting grandma and grandad, go out for the day with them, or for a birthday or Christmas party.
